In this multi-teacher course, you will learn how prebirth and birth experiences shape our world with author and holistic therapist, Mia Kalef. You will be invited to consider how the collective story of separation shapes our stories about pregnancy and birth and how these experiences can unfold within a new story of interbeing, with author and philosopher, Charles Eisenstein.
With birth educators Laura Shanley, you will have the opportunity to clear your relationship to birth from fear and misleading myths. You will learn how birth, history, politics and human rights are deeply intertwined through the activism of holistic midwife Jennie Joseph. You will further learn about the historical turning points that drew our collective awareness away from the natural design of birth, with traditional Mexican midwife and anthropologist, Naoli Vinaver.
To complete this paradigm-shifting journey, you will learn how birth, by nature, is an altered state of consciousness, that has the potential to lead to experiences of divine ecstasy, when a birthing woman feels safe, unobserved, undisturbed and free to follow her innate body wisdom.
